Originality is dead.
In recent years, very few things produced by the media have been original.
Every new and novel idea that’s ever existed has been used, re-used, re-hashed, flipped upside down, flipped right-side up, reinvented, mirrored, and flat-out imitated. Media entertainment is an ever-cooking stew, and we’ve run out of ingredients.
I, for one, refuse to resort to using leftovers.
My mission is creation - pure creation without the taint of regurgitation. I’m personally boycotting the ‘reblog’ button in favor of posting my own original work, whether it’s writing, drawing, painting, or photography.
My goal is inspiration; I wish to inspire and be inspired. I truly hope that my blog will give you the courage to create.
